i remember listening to warrant in middle school, thinking how some day it would be great to make out and hold hands with a hot chic while listening to their powerful love ballads.
today, 20 years later, i "borrowed" one of their cd's and i almost threw up in my mouth a little bit just trying to listen to it.
like that time i made out with this ugly chic after one of our shows, then she got excited, and it turned out to be a good looking guy instead.
it was that bad. warrant, that is.
that last part was just a test to see if you were paying attention, as i would NEVER make out with an ugly chic!

of course, since i am quite often approached by not so "hot" women, i sometimes forget what i need to do to appear suave and debonair when the hot ones do approach me. as in this weekend. in the past year there have been maybe 15 different decent looking women come up to the stage and say that i'm cute. to which i always reply, thank you, but i'm guessing you already have a boyfriend. and so far, the only ones who said they did not have a boyfriend were already married. great! this last weekend, at a wedding we were playing, a very good looking woman comes up on stage, in front of everyone else, and tells me i'm cute. so i say thank you, jerry asks how much i payed here to say that, and she leaves with her friend before i think to ask anything about her.

if anyone knows a hot chic in billings, montana that thinks i'm cute, send me her name and phone number and i promise i will "take care" of you!

since i was so depressed on sunday for throwing another missed chic encounter on the enormous pile of previous lost chances, i took holly dog out into the fresh snow and played with the camera for awhile. at least i have some nice pictures to remember the hot chic with light brown curly hair, beautiful smile, nice full lips,

oh wait, that's just holly dog.

i just got up

i've been up half an hour and i have to be at another sound check for a private party in 10 minutes. i will get the emails sent i'm behind on before playing tonight as well as answer a few questions. my question is, how do normal people get up, drink coffee, and have a great day? i hate coffee, but i'm trying.

Pork Chops and Premonition!

playing in havre was fun. the crowd was small, but where else can you get great rock and roll and a side of pork chops? i have some video from saturday night that i will get edited and posted over on my site. nothing too exciting went on, hotels, restaurants, chicks with lots of tattoos, and me trying to play a song while suffering from brain frost. just normal.

in other news, i would like to say happy birthday to the first love of my life, who shall remain unnamed, as she totally broke my heart by refusing my advances and offers of timeless love from the first day of kindergarden until 5th grade when i finally gave up on her. you know who you are, and i hope you enjoy the life of domestic marital incarceration that you chose over me. i might have made up a few of the words in that last sentence. happy birthday anyway.

it could be worse, at least i have the ability to be flexibly dramatic in a pine green circle in september. whatever that means. anyways, in case you noticed the posts have been a lot less entertaining around here lately, it probably has something to do with the fact that it's been over a month since i drank beer and did stupid stuff worthy of passing on to both of the faithful readers of this here blog. but all is good now, my house, even my closets, are clean and organized, and we are playing every weekend the rest of this month, which should keep me plenty occupied. well, that and i still faithfully support my not-for-profit organization, equal rights for hookers. because you know, hookers need love too, as well as: health insurance, dental, 401k plan, weekly blood screenings, etc. i have not finished the hookersneedlovetoo.com site yet, but soon it will be up with shirts and stickers available. of course, all proceeds will go to me to fund more research on hookers.

been a little busy

this last week was long, but it was fun. we played three nights and i started working on the band's promo car, a 65 mustang. it should be done within the next month and i will post some pictures along the way. coming up is our only weekend off this month so hopefully i will get the body work done then. i also got a couple of applications for new lesbian roadies, i will let you know how the interviews go.
